Marieyat was founded by Hong Kong born designer, Maria Yat Wei Yeung. Marieyat is inspired by the women in her life: Complex ladies who are both their mind and body. Marieyat is all about the balance of two opposites: the Yin and the Yang.

Utilitarian, but with unexpected details, her classic collection resembles mens briefs, but the drop binding provides the feminine energy of lingerie. Seamless construction of Marieyat makes the garments comfortable for underwear, but these unordinary pieces are not always meant to be hidden. Versatility ever present, many of these garments can be worn as innerwear and outerwear.

More details from the brand:

All pieces are made in China. The manufacturer is committed to maintaining a high ethical standard of use of labor, green practices and environmental protection.

The classic collection - made with circular knitwear machines where there are no side seams to enhance comfort as base layers.

Marieyat has been featured in various art and fashion publications such as The Wallpaper*, The New York Times Style magazine, Dazed and Confused, I-D, and Another magazine.
